MITER Foundation Issues Over $70K for Postsecondary Education

HARRISBURG, Pa. – The MITER Foundation, the nonprofit arm of MITER Brands, recently rewarded 71 graduating high school seniors with $1,000 scholarships. This marks the most scholarships bestowed in the program’s nearly 10-year history.

The 2024 class of MITER Foundation Scholarship recipients is truly a remarkable group of young people, representing every region of the country. They plan on attending a diverse range of postsecondary institutions, including four-year universities, community colleges, and technical schools.

“Our latest scholarship winners represent the best of the best,” MITER Foundation Specialist Gwen Mallon said. “We’re thrilled that we’re in a position to help them continue their studies.”

To be considered for a MITER Foundation scholarship, students must have a stellar academic record and display a commitment to community service. They must also submit an essay with their application.

“It’s always inspiring reading the essays every year,” Mallon said. “These students are so smart and so dedicated. I’m excited to see what they do next.”
